Honestly this isn't something anyone here is going to be able to directly help you with. As this is an internal issue with Blizzard. Your best bet is submitting Support Tickets and/or contacting them via phone for assistance in this matter.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##sas148##DELIM##
While the above is true - if you would post the exact error message you are getting - it would help us to help you if we can.
Have you downloaded a new client since you last played? Maybe you accidentally downloaded the US one if you are from the UK and vice versa - that would explain the "different region" error. If you have a US battle.net account, you must play on US servers.
