Yeah I'll agree with you on that.

I don't pvp much and I don't play enhancement as a raiding main spec but I did level that way. I was in Hyjal on one of those skettle bird nests when an 85 Shadow Priest (from an actually pvp guild) dropped in to say hello. Unlucky for him I had all my cooldowns up and proceeded to chop him in half.

I dunno, maybe he DC'ed or something.

Helps to do BGs with guildies and friends. We do have less HP than one might typically expect. We're like Rogues in mail. without the ability to stealth. =)

All I can say, besides my suggestion, is: invest in some good HP and Resilience. And use things to help reduce your incoming damage, or heal yourself. Maelstrom-proc heals. Glyphed Stoneclaw totem. (a 17k damage absorb!) Shamanistic Rage. Save your Ghost Wolves for particularly tough enemies, because they also heal you when doing damage. And pop any trinkets before you bring out your Ghost Wolves, since they seem to take a snapshot of your current stats, when coming out.

yeah, i to have been enjoying playing bg's on my enhancement shaman. with patch 4.0.6 i also tried hit / haste dual windfury "tanking" making me nearly immortal when combined with all the other tools we have to stay alive.

but then my warrior hit 85 and i started massmurdering people on him to, and then my dk hit 85. and guess what... was very possible to "own face" on that character to.

so i guess its more the player then the class or spec he choses to play.
on topic: yes i do like being able to do stuff without the wolves out, even tho they are the reason i play enhancement shaman main.

In WotLK, Hunters would just shoot me down. Now in Cata, I chase them beast loving pansies down. Frost shock them in place! Throw down my totems and start hacking and slashing at them. Oh you're gonna disengage and start kiting? BAM! FROSTSHOCK! Ooh that fancy whirly thingy that goes off when you trinket out? BAM! EARTHBIND TOTEM! Oh hey check this out ~summons ghost wolves~ see those things? Those are MY PETS. You see yours? Ya know? Back there? Still stuck in the Earthbind Totem. Still trying to catch up? Guess what those ghost wolves that are om noming on your face can do. They can stun you. You heard me. Stuuuuuuuun. YOU! Guess what else they can do. They can make me SPRINT. Disengage again (somehow cause you would usually be dead) BAM! SPRINT! STUN! FROSTSHOCK! and then dead.
