Non shadow spec that can solo well but still heal better than shadow?

My priest is 69(almost 70) right now, and after getting back in my healing groove again I just can't dps anymore, so I need a spec that can heal well in instances, but still do pretty well in solo. Any tips?

In a raid, your paltry bubble isn't going to absorb much more than 2-3 hits at best before it pops, it's not as if they're going an entire fight with damage being absorbed, perhaps only 5 seconds.
It's not as if it's going to totally prevent rage generation.

go shadow. the difference is unbeatable. you will make the cost of a respec in a MAX of 3 quests. from the sounds of it, you haven't respced much, so it may only take one. furthermore, i healed every BC instance (not raid) in shadow and did fine, so no need to even worry about not being able to heal

I just changed to full disc, and I can say, it's WAY better in northrend than shadow.

It's all relative. Define heal well in instances. Define pretty well in solo. When my priest was 70 he primarily stayed a CoH priest (sometimes IDS for raids if we wanted it, sometimes arena disc) and was tolerable to do dailies on. To level I went to a hybrid build 31/27/3 that focused on talents that would help me kill things quickly and still retained the ability to heal instances comfortably. I found it to be a comfortable medium between dps and heal while leveling. Now at 80 he's back to a full heal build. What little I have to grind on him doesn't warrant gimping my healing to be some hybrid build and now that I'm running heroics I need all the heal I can get. If I want to solo I have alts in the wings to grind whatever it is I want.
