Welcome, I'll try to add a couple of things.
You might want to start by reading the stickies in these forums. Threads with titles such as "IMPORTANT - READ FIRST!" may in fact contain important information and guidelines for posting.
First: How important are macro's in PVP and PVE? And how exactly do they work?
Macros in WoW must operate under a fairly strict set of limitations designed to prevent them from automating gameplay. They are useful for triggering a sequence of skills using multiple presses of a single button, combining abilities (provided only the last one triggers your global cooldown), using different skill depending on the nature of your target, and switching targets effectively. However they are not critical to game play and there are many things they cannot automate.
Second: Is there an auto face key or some way to have your toon face the target rather than having to turn all the time to face it?
No, the fastest way to turn is to hold down your right mouse button and move the mouse rather than using the keyboard.
I am playing a Druid and have to say i love it. But i cant seem to find any information about stats. What is my most important stat or stats i need to raise? I want to eventually be Balance / Feral, if that is even possible.
Which stats are important to you depends on which style of play and talent tree you choose to follow, particularly with a class like a druid who can choose to focus on wildly different styles. You can mouse over the stats in your character pane to see how they affect your combat mechanics and find more advice in the Druid forum here or on wowwiki.
Fourth: Addons? are they worth having and if so which ones are good for beginners and does anyone know a trusted site to DL them from? Also how to install them, i assume the site would have info, hopefuly.
Addons are highly useful but I would suggest avoiding going overboard with them early on. The sites gasillio mentioned are a good place to start.
I often suggest starting with Cartographer (which adds a great deal of detail to your world map including the map coordinates often referenced in wowhead comments), Omen if you are playing in a group (to show more detail on how much threat you have against each target), and Recount (collects combat data into nice in-game graphs so you can see how much damage you do with different abilities, how often you are missing, and so on).
There are addons for just about everything. If you find that there's some sort of information you cannot easily find using the default UI then see if someone has an addon to help with that. See the UI & Macros forum stickies here for more including basics like how to install them.

Thanks to the admins for moving this post which was originally posted in the Theorycrafting forum.
/facepalm
I know I shouldn't let this get to me, but seriously guys, it's not that hard!
RTFS! (Read The F****** Stickies!)
There's one right at the top called "
IMPORTANT - READ FIRST!
"
But on the subject of macros, if someone could show me how to write one that replies to a thread on the Wowhead forums with "
This is not theorycrafting, please post in the appropriate forum
" it would save me a lot of time!
