The surface structure was complete, underneath the ground a formidable force had gathered, tunnellers had already began digging straight towards to crash site it it would only be a matter of minutes before they reached the crater and the faceless force poured put of the tunnels.

The demon roared as more bullets slammed into him, "I said it once and I'll say it again, you need... more... th-" his voice cut off and he looked down at his chest in surprise, before falling to the ground, dead.
Søren turned and ran for the gate.

"Battle is over. Enemy fleeing" he said. He followed the survivors back to the terran crash site. "Designated Raynors Raiders. Ally" his computer confirmed, as his stalker walked slowly through the site. Marines and civilians alike stopped to stare at him, ready to fight or run at the first sign of trouble.

Avea directed some of the probes once the forge had been warped in, "I want a defensive line of photon cannons set up..."
Her instructions were cut off quickly when the ground erupted and more of the faceless creatures poured in. The probes went right away to warp in the cannons, and Avea turned with the rest of her present brethren to kill the monsters once more.

Xerixa heard someone call and turned to see a terran. "Designated: Terran, Occupation: Spectre. Raynors Raiders. Ally. Unkown 'wizard' shall be purged from this world". Xerixa blinked towards the fleeing wizard and fired at him. "Unknown energy source detected" his computer flashed, as he got closer.

Avea twisted to the side, impaling one of the tentacles as it tried to attack her, before slicing it off from the base.

More of the tentacles fell, all severed at the base like the one Avea had slain. Saz decloaked, standing next to Avea. "I thought you could use some help, Templar," he said to the female protoss.

"Thanks a lot! Now what? Oh, yes... ME-E-EDIC!"
"I suppose you could say, Right Behind You."
"Wha..."
Greg spun arond and all but bumped into an elderly man in white robes. The man was holding a club and a thick book... Okay, okay, a dignified native was wielding a jeweled scepter and an ancient rune-covered grimoire, and it was either something bad with Greg's eyes, or his vis-a-vis was slightly glowing with soft golden light.
"Great, good to see you, I'm Greg, come with me!"
Before the native could say anything else, Greg grabbed him by the hand and took him to Eva.
"You know what to do... You know, don't you?"
"Relax, young man. Light, bless this valiant child of yours and mend to her wounds..." - Greg could not decide whether the old man was talking or singing, and he felt envy as the native covered Eva's wounds with his hands.
'Great, where do I sign for a local healer? Preferably female soldiers healing department!' - he thought as 'quietly' as possible.

Eva was surprised to find that a soft golden glow enveloped her form, covering the wounds she had gained in the previous skirmish, drenching them a warm aura, which eventually faded. And when it was all over, it was as if the wounds had never been inflicted at all.

"Gack!" he yelled, as the first shot hit him. His shield held, but it knocked him off his feet. He rolled with the blow and slid back to his feet. "Feel my wrath!" he yelled, and a burst of chaotic fire spread from his hand, heading straight for the protoss.

The battle appeared to be leaning to neither side, with both taking casualties. S'thop stopped summoning tentacles and focused on the portal like structure in the middle. He unleashed a blast of necromantic and arcane energies in its direction attempting to destroy it.
