It was coming from...
" he tapped through the controls on his console, deciphering where the transmission had come from... or where the remnants of it were traced to. "
It's fuzzy, but it was coming directly south from our position at base. From where you guys are now... it's about south west.

"Just as I thought. That's going pretty close to the trolls." Richard said and Kate nodded. "If we're lucky they didn't kill them and took them as prisoners." She said checking her rifle. "But you do know what happens to the prisoners?" Richard asked. "Only rumors. And if that happens I think we can handle it." She replied.

Having reached his cabin, Greg first of fall drained yet another can of 'Zine-Soda!', this time finally relaxing and letting out a loud belch. Afterwards the spectre proceeded to a laptop, and, muttering under his nose, began browsing. Several minutes later Gregory left the scene, a small datachip decorated to resemble a nuclear missile in his hands.
'Don't say a word, it's a surprise,' - he thought, coming to the operational chamber and sneaking up to Eva and Axel - only Eva was aware of that, while Axel was not. - 'A little present,' - he thought, slipping the chip gently into Eva's hand, then asked aloud matter-of-factly - "Sup guys, did I miss anything? Howsa rescue party doing?" - right over Axel's shoulder.

" Eva fingered the chip.
Axel wheeled around on impulse, his fist shooting out in the close amount of room between him and Greg, to clock the spectre in the jaw.

"You don't mess with a psionic, puny mortal," - said Gregory coldly, blocking the strike with one hand and lifting Axel by his neck with the other. - "Deja vu, eh?"

Eva was about to reply, but twisted at the two fighting, "Let him down Mandrake!"
Axel struggled and kicked, hoping Eva's yelling would get him down.

"As you command, my liege," - said Mandrake, letting Axel down and brushing inexistant dust off his shoulders. The spectre then boldly turned his back to Eva's second-in-command, and smirked at the firebat. - "Ah, Clarence, good to see you."
'He started it first, you saw it.'

Axel looked over at the firebat but barely acknowledged the rest of the room as he then turned back to console in the Operations Room, practically ignoring Eva as the Ghost stared at him expectantly. She sighed and looked over at Smoke, waving, "Heya."
Nora looked over at the two natives, "I don't like the sound of that. But... nevermind it, let's get this over with."

'I wonder, does this firebat know that not only does he threaten a superior officer, but at the same time a psionic powerful enough to send him flying across the room with a mere punch?
Not that I would do that, of course. As rude as Clarence is, he's got a point about fighting in our own ranks - but I still cling to the thought it was Axel's fault. He really, really should not have yelled at you.
Anyway, are you going to tell him about the draenei, the traitors and everything?'

"Interesting," Eva said, looking over the map of the ship. "We had a run in at the capital of the local population with a group of corrupted Dominion forces... said they made a pact with some group called the Burning Legion. We helped chase them off and met up with some magical healers, made a diplomatic move with the natives' King --- he said he'll be sending a regiment of troops along to help us --- and also acquired some local spell casters."
"We're hoping that these arcanists will be able to use their magic in place of vespene gas... if not, they can still shoot fireballs out of their hands without a suit, so no real loss if we can get them on our side."

"You have a wonderful skill of subtlety, Mandrake," Eva commented, before looking over at the firebat. "I'm quite serious, I didn't believe it when I first saw it, but there's nothing that makes more sense why all of the inhabitants of this planet have psionic levels off the charts."
"And even if the core is running, we don't know how much power it still has, let's at least keep the core running so we can warp jump when we actually get off this dang place."
