Eva sighed, rubbing her temples as she set the empty bottle off to the side and headed into the cabin part of the ship, finding that part of her room got destroyed in the crash,
Jolly good me.
she sighed and slipped in, scavenging what remained of her stuff and her casual clothing, before heading off to the barracks.
As the Terran force moved around the crater, they found numerous colonist bodies, mutilated in twisted ways. Axel cringed as his Raven patrolled around the scene, his brooding over the issue at hand interrupted by Nora's call over the com.

Having finished the exersizes, the spectre headed off to take a shower. As icy cold water began pummeling his skin, he almost could feel the tension going out of him. While there, and idea sprung to his mind, and the moment he returned to his cabin he picked up an empty 'Zine-Soda!' can, desinfected it and started cutting it.
Almost half an hour later Gregory exited the cabin, again clad in his HES and hiding something behind his back. He concentrated on psionic disturbances in the area and headed off in the direction he thought he could feel a psionic as powerful as Eva.
"So, what are we going to do now?" - inquired Mickey over his comm-link.

Eva slipped into the barracks, a few moments later she got out of her hostile environment suit, taking a quick shower and changing into casual clothes. A navy jacket with a white shirt underneath, light brown cargo pants, and a pair of black boots. She picked up her C-10 and headed out, intent on going back to the Command Center.

'Cause maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me, and after all, you're my wonderwall...' - Greg knew that in his mind it sounded a lot better than if he actually tried to sing, so he just hummed wordlessly under his nose, while rewinding the song in his mind. Grinning, the spectre followed his captain.

" Eva thought.
She walked into the Command Center and reclimbed the maze of facilities to the Operations Room, where she found Axel still hunched over his Raven terminal, biting the flesh right off his fingertips in mild frustration. Eva tapped the second-in-command on the shoulder, "How goes it with the colonists?"
Axel bit back any sort of witty retort he may have been planning since the Captain last left, and held back his exasperated tone as he spoke, "We found the colonists. Nora numbers the survivors from the crash and jungle's attack to about fifty... out of a ship numbering over five hundred. About twenty five men, fifteen women, and a handful of children from toddlers to ten year olds."
"I'm having the marines look through the wreckage, they've found mineral and vespene caches. Some of them were destroyed when the ship crashed... the others we assume the natives to the jungle took. I'm thinking about sending part of our squad out to to retreive the supplies. Think the Viking would scare these trolls enough?"
Eva rubbed her chin as she mused, "It might... we don't know what the locals have stood up to though. It's worth a shot. I'd just suggest making sure there's enough troops behind to guard the colonists, a handful of marines and Nora is good enough."
"I'll keep the Raven over at the ship too, just in case."

' button. She sighed and turned back to the colonists who were huddled in part of the ship, obviously taking refuge from the wildlife that was determined to kill them. Some of the men had described dinosaur like creatures scavenging and ripping apart survivors that got close...
And then the descriptions of the trolls were wild, outlandish. Tall, hunched creatures with vibrant hair and skin, tribal markings, tusks and crude axes that could kill a man with one shot to the head. It was brutal what they had gone through.
The medic cursed the Dominion for not having sent any defenses with the colonists.

Richard walked around the edge of the crater staring into the jungle looking for any trolls. "Do you see anything?" Kate asked as she walked up. "No. And it bothers me that we haven't seen a single troll since we got here." He said and started to walk back to the ship. Kate started to think about it and nodded. "I was always told that jungle trolls don't leave survivors." She said. "So did I. They may attack soon." He said grabbing his communicator. "How soon can we get these colonist back to your ship?" He asked staring at the Raven.
