"I'll tell you the rest of the story later. And now... ME-E-EDIC!" - justified again, they were on the edge of the camp. A pretty golden-haired medic accompanied by two tall marines arrived almost immediately.
"When you have a Spectre in the team, you get used to that." - chuckled medic.
"Yeah, yeah, been there, done that, just TREAT THE ACTING-COMMANDER ALREADY, thank you so very much."
"Not a problem, Greg... Hey, where are you going?" - asked medic, startled by the fact that when the marines took Eva and carried her away to the hospital, the Spectre followed them.
"To hold her by the hand and annoy everyone... Wait, did I say that out loud? Sorry, gotta go, this is Richard by the way, kaythanksbye."
The medic glared at the Spectre's broad back disappearing in the field hospital before sighing and turning to Richard - "So, you're native to this planet? How interesting! I'm Isabelle, and you are, if my too-quick-to-talk-to friend is not mistaking, Richard?"

The current shape of the hospital, or the remains of the med-bay in the battlecruiser, luckily mostly intact and turned right side up when it was detached from the ship, wasn't the best. Yet, Eva was situated in a myriad of medical equipment and supplies, while spare power was directed to sealing up and healing the wounds.

'. Several minutes later, in between two verses sung by a surprisingly acceptable soft baritone, he murmured - "Come on, Eva, get up - if only to yell at my inappropriate behaviour."

Steadily, over time, Eva's vitals went up, and after some injections of various chemicals and the use of nanobots, the Ghost finally cracked her eyes open. She winced, before looking around with blurred vision, before seeing Gregory hanging over her.
"I hope your just lookin' and not touchin', Mandrake," she croaked.

"My arms may hurt but that doesn't mean I can't keep myself alive, Mandrake," she snorted. "You think I haven't been hit like this before? I could still fire a rifle if my arm actually got taken off, I wouldn't second chance me just because I've got curves."
Eva scanned the busted up room, and spotted her C-10, and picked the armament up.
