NPC's with multiple locations

Often times you have multiple versions of NPCs, due to them appearing in different locations of the game, which leads to many different pages with comments all spread out.

Is there any way that you can consolidate them together - at least for the comments? Often time I'll want to read about them but I'll have to go through each link on the search page to see if anyone has any.

The trouble is that the game files don't make a distinction between a single character with multiple locations and entirely different NPCs. In both cases you have numerous separate NPCs with numerous different NPC IDs. Those IDs are the basis for the separate pages on the site.

The search you've just done seems to be a decent consolidation to me since, while in some cases comments are relevant to all instances of a character, it is more often the case that comments would pertain specifically to that iteration and the quest they give or function they serve and so on.

Basically, I totally see what you're getting at but the only solution I could think of would be to add the ability for us to manually link certain pages to share a comments section. This would likely be a lot of work to develop and then continued work to make those links manually so the question would be, is the benefit great enough?

Another way to deal with it, is to "force" the "see also"-section to show all npc's that show up when you search for that name. So for example, each of those instances of Amber Kearnen would link to the other yielded by the search.

Not sure how much work that would be, but surely less than what asakawa mentioned?
