Offspec of Prot

Been thinking lately...should I offspec Ret or Holy? I personally enjoy Holy a lot more in PvE content, and Ret in PvP content, but I've never been a huge fan of PvP. Primarily because I've been Prot all my life, and no PvP favors tanks a lot. So if I go Ret, I guess I'll experience a whole new aspect of the game - but I don't think I'll spend
too much
time PvPing.
On the other hand, Holy is something I am familiar with and can do pretty well (healing that is), and as far as I know, healing in PvP is fairly needed.
I guess my question is - which one is more valuable right now, gear-wise? Which T7 is better, and which PvP set?

I'd say, regardless, go holy. As going ret is going from melee job 1 to melee job 2. Going from prot to holy gives a new style of playing.
But I've been Holy for months, and Ret - only for about 2 weeks. And about a year of prot.

Well, as far as gameplay goes, I am less experienced with Ret. I was asking which one is more sought in the general community, which one has its item sets better itemized, and all that - not which is makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

It is...when I am tank. The day I switch to Holy, I'll be seeing "LF1M Healer and g2g" all day long...
How about PvP? How valuable are shockadin and pure healer in BGs, Wintergrasp and Arenas?

Yea, I put the Imp Conc due to habit...
Average SP and Mana for heroics were ~1 200 and ~16 000 respectively, yes?
