Opening rotation and CDs

I'm wondering what opening rotation to use to start myself off for frost dps. I realised that when I used a opening rotation from my friend my dps went up by at least 1 - 2k. Also when do you guys use your CDs?

Depends on the fight. If there's no mechanic where you want to be able to burn quickly, or the CD's effectiveness will rise, I use them pretty much as soon as I have diseases up that way you have the maximum amount of up-time during the fight (you will cast them multiple times).

However, if you're on something that does have a mechanic, it's a bit different. Take Magmaw for an example, you want to save it for when his head comes down because then he takes more damage it will be 100% more effective. Furthermore, even on a fight that doesn't have these, you may want to cast them once and then hold off even after they're off cooldown until Bloodlust is cast.
