My guild has it simple.
Mainspecs roll first. If you win the roll, you get the item. No fuss. Non-main-specs don't get counted when they roll, unless no main-specs have rolled. Simple and painfree.

This is true, it was more of a Hobson's choice - I was stuck with having to be fair with the roll, otherwise my rep would be tarnished, and besides,
I'd hate myself if I ninja'ed.
It comes solely down to the part I put in bold. It doesn't matter what others think of you, especially in a MMO. What matters is what you think of yourself. Integrity is internal and personal. Either you have it or you don't. The decision process is the same for a small matter as a large matter.
