Path of Frost Glyph

I recently got Path of Frost Glyph for my DK and it states that from a higher distance I will not take much damage, well not working for some reason. Anyone know what it is that I am missing, do I have to be switched to frost to use it?

Its works passively, similar to druid cat and rogue skills.
Go to Shattrath Aldor rise and jump from top of the elevator with Path of frost on. Now try to do same thing without it (you will most likely die). Or you can jump to gold mine or from lumber mill. Normally you'd die.

As i have stated, it is not working. I can jump from TB and I will die with PoF activated. I tried opening a ticket to talk to a GM about it, but it has been three days and still says "we have a high queue blah blah." I was just rtrying to see if anyone has had these problems.

I have seen it bug sometimes. But in most cases it works fine. By chance did you tag a ledge or tree on your way down that would have counted for the extra bonus?
