Pet Attack Macro

Hi all,
I am not very good with macros and I am trying to make one where my pet's claw ability is macro'd to my scourge stike ability. So far I have come up with this;
#showtooltip Scourge Strike
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/cast Scourge Stike
/petattack claw
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear(); UIErrorsFrame:Show(
However, all this appears to do, looking at the numbers on MSBT, is cast claw and not cast the initial scourge strike.
I have also tried the following simpler macro but also to, what seems to be, no effect.
#showtooltip
/cast Scourge Strike
/cast claw
I am now at a loss on how to do something which I suspect isn't actually that hard to do, just seems that I don't know enough about macros to sort this out for myself.

Have you tried putting it above your own attack?

No I haven't Pelf. I shall try them both out in a bit and see if it works and report back.
edit: I have tried the second macro another time with just auto-swing and all pet abilities off and this time it seems that it is indeed casting claw immediately after my Scourge Strike. I suspect that I have been an idiot all along and that in the inital trial I had almost certainly mistyped one of the abilities which was causing it to fail.

According to the threads for Unholy DPS on EJ, the current AI is a bit lacklustre and even with claw on auto it won't use it as often as it is available. The recommendation is to, as I have done above, macro it onto Scourge Strike to maximise the DPS from it.
I have also left it on auto in the pet spell pane in my spellbook with the hope that if, for whatever reason, i don't use Scourge Strike often enough it should also autocast claw anyway.

Yeah, that macro-pet-auto-attack-ability-to-main-ability thing has been around for a while. I don't have any solid data on whether it was changed/fixed for 4.0, though.
