You can the quickest way just queue for arena do your 10 games a week (no need to be serious).
aka high rating.
the other options is that you do Battlegorund (normal) or Rated battleground.
and welcome back to the game in case you do.

Starting out, buy a full 8-piece "Contender's" set. There's a separate set for each different armor/stat class. Eg, "Contender's Leather" is your typical leather set built for agility wearers. Cloth variants have both DPS and healing forms. You can find a set to cover what you do. They're crafted by relevant professions (Leatherworking, Tailoring, BS, etc), so you can find them through the AH or trade chat.
The new season is slated for a March 5th release, alongside the 5.2 patch. This means that all previous-season Conquest gear (the epic stuff) will be purchasable with just honor. Which puts you in the perfect timeframe to begin playing again, as you'll be able to ease into very good gear, yet we're still only just going into the 2nd season so you won't be facing off against
too
many geared opponents in typical random BGs.
When you do get a nice set of Malevolent Gladiator gear going from honor, arena gearing will be easier now. They lifted the rating requirement for weapons, and generally made gearing up in PvP and easier task to transition into.
Read up the blog post outlining the changes in 5.2, and what's eventually coming for 5.3 as well.

As far as fun goes, I don't think PvE can compete. The only facet of PvE that's ever felt like fun to me after years of doing exclusively PvP is tanking, and even that can't really compete to a good arena or BG match played with friends and good communication.

MoP is very similar to Vanilla, although i don't like the casualisation and the overhuge health pools, the game feels very vanilla-ish! World bosses, rares, farming!

How easy is it to get the end-game pvp gear? I hope its not arena still otherwise i wont be able to even get it at the times i play online.
What is the end-game pvp gear?
How much fun is it now to PvP full-time and not pve :)
I rejoined WoW few months ago, after I finnished my military service. And I lvl'd up to 90, and did some BG's to get the Blue PvP Gear. Since the Season was kinda in its end, was hard and really frustrating to get gear since all noobs had better gear than me, even tho I was clearly better player (I'm 2.5k XP'd in 3s) but I got killed cos of my gear. I do have the gear now though. But it takes time bro..
