I have to admit I'm kind of sad to see the zombie infestation go. Sure there were times when it was frustrating, but I thoroughly enjoyed killing zombies and when I was a zombie, running into a crowd and exploding.
I honestly don't see what the big deal is. It was less than a week and you knew that it would end soon. There are several people in my guild that were able to level quite successfully in Vanilla WoW during the event. Not being able to kill some zombies in Shat was kind of annoying, but the guards usually took care of that.

I always thought players who played on PvE servers would be much more itnerested in the lore anf far more deeply intrenched into world events and general implementations than the whole 'hack n slash' notion of a PvP server but it seems as though the PvE players were far more disgruntled and disrupted than the PvPer's. Funny seeing as one of the most often targeted NPC's were the Battlemasters.
