Priest Professions

Right now I have a 33 Priest with Skinning and Mining to help get tons of cash while leveling...
but once I hit 80, what would be a good set of professions for general priest play? By general I mean, not exactly tied to a specific talent spec, and not necessarily makes money, but really just provides good items easier to make my priest better whether I'm called on to heal or provide DPS.
I'm considering either Mining/Engineering or Herb/Alcy.

Yeah, I've levelled tailoring and enchanting just because I already had them from BC. If you're the kind of person that wants to be "perfect" in that you'll pay whatever it takes to get the best stats for your toon, don't take tailoring. The only bonus we get is making the pants enchants cheaper, but there's no gain for a tailor over a non-tailor.

The cloak embroidery if I remember correctly actually works out as worse than +15 haste which is available from any enchanter.

My paladin alt has mining JC and I have to say it's by far a much better option.

Herbalism and Alchemy (for the trinket) is alright, I mean it's nice to have that extra 40% from health and mana potions but really I don't have many mana issues even at this "poorly geared" stage of the game.

Other than that, Inscription looks nice. The shoulder enchants you can do are a) better than what is offered by Sons of Hodir rep and b) far easier to obtain.

JC is defo worth having. plenty of money to be made and always somebody looking for gems.
