Problem w. 'Dr. Terrible'.

I wrote a comment at the page where the quest: "The Sum is Greater than The Parts" is described, but received no replies. So I'm going to try my luck here:

I can see from what you all write, that you actually fought Dr. Terrible - and won. So he's intended to be the losing part; it's the intention that we can kill them, which means we must be able to actually confront him.

Can somebody tell me how I get Dr. Terrible to show up before his adds has killed Nergrel (the giant you mount and use as an extra body to do the fight)?

... I never get to see Dr. Terrible until at the moment when Nergrel has died and I therefore get dismounted and am exposed to the horde of Dr. Terrible adds.

I'm a hunter, so I use Feign Death at that point, which makes the adds believe the fight is over, and they fade away.

It's right at this time - when the adds fade out - that Dr. Terrible shows up among them. He's somewhat faded like them, and he disappears as they do, at the same time, fading out.

If I was to jump up and start fight before they all disappear, I would die for sure!

So ... how do you manage to fight this guy, when you can't face him unless you're dead or have an ability that makes it seem like you are (in which case your health is very low anyway)?

I would appreciate it a lot if someone can give me a few hints here.

Here's what I did:

1) Get on the thingy
2) Keep using the AoE and Punch
3) Wait 'til the Dr. Terrible comes
4) Focus Fire on him while keeping up the AoE and Punching

Just keep FF on him. He'll die, and all the other Mobs'll disappear. I don't see how that Quest could be so hard... took me about 73 seconds. Exactly.

It's been a long time since I attempted to do this quest. But I eventually left and have only just recently thought of trying to do it again. It annoys me when something doesn't get completed, when I know it can be done.

I still have the quest, and I think it's time to see if I can get it done now.
I'll remember your advices and report back how it went.

(for some reason, it seems to me, nobody except me really seemed to have any problems. I guess I must've done something wrong, despite I remember following peoples' descriptions on how they had completed this quest themselves. It also seems to be the type of quest that you complete by using one specific method ... opposite f.ex. "Aces High" which can be done different ways.)
