Prot at 35?

Hey guys, many people post about leveling as prot but are often shut down with people saying, "Don't play prot until level 35".
My question is, what do paladins get at 35 which makes prot more viable?

Nothing of significance.
At level 30 you gain access to Blessing of Sanctuary/reckoning + Rank 2 Consecration + Seal of Light (godly for AoE grinding) + mount
At 34, Divine shield
At 36, Ret aura rank 2 (i think) and 5/5 reckoning and BoSanct
