Due to the upcoming changes in our skills and glyph in the next patch next week, I would like your opinion in the following spec & glyph for prot pala (PvE only).
if you think it is not OK please tell and explain to what to change and why?
Spec & Glyph
Thank you.

For the level 60 talents you will probably want to change them around per encounter for the rest of level 85. For level 75 talents, Holy avenger is the better one, due to being on demand mitigation (and damage) - SW is most likely the worst for a tank, as it only extends the duration of wings (a dps cooldown), and increase Holy Power generation very insignificantly with the reduced J CD - the 20% increased healing recieved will in all likelyhood be less than what you can pump out on yourself with HA through 5 ShotR and a WoG (with 5
stacks) and all the nice vengeance.
Also HA is a 2 minute (additional) CD, while AW is a 3 minute CD.
As for the level 90 talents, Lights Hammer is a stationary spell (in both healing and damage iirc) so it requires the targets to be stationary fror the duration, while Execution Sentence follows the target, and actually does more damage and healing (if I remember the numbers thrown wround over on maintankading correctly).
As for glyphs, I haven't seen enough on them to say for certain, though the
Charred Glyph
seems rather useless, both as 0.5% health per second is not even noise on the healing, but also that AW isn't a survivability cooldown as such (even with SW as the lvl 75 talent)

You might want to reread the description on that. Sanctified Wrath gives Prot +20% healing received for 30 seconds every 3 minutes. Arguably better than some of the existing cooldowns.

I know what it does, but Wings is a DPS cooldown outtside AW, and 20% increased healing recieved for 30 seconds every 3 minutes is less useful than (conservatively set) 60% less physical damage taken for 21+ seconds every 2 minutes (even if we halve the benefit due to having ShotR up regardless of using HA or not, its still better)
That SW+AW is a better CD than some that exist now is irellevant for comparing them, as you can only compare them to what else you could pick up.
Remember, 20% increased healing recived require you a) take the damage, and b) have the healers heal you up.

Guys, but why Repentance at level 30?
I see all these level 30 talents as most useful against some packs, but the stun and slow might also be useful in some boss fights. Besides can't dps still do the CC? I haven't checked, but I guess all mages, rogues and hunters will still be able to CC, won't they? So why should a tank spend on such talent if he could slow some kiteable boss instead? Also more often stun would be useful if it still includes interrupt.

The Problem is most Bosses aren't effected by Stuns or Slows. So that stops that part. Second thing is the Slow only effects that target that was Judged. At best its a Pvp Talent.
So with those 2 out Repentence is the better choice. That and its not all that bad having a little more control as a tank then having to wait for a dps to get there finger out of there Nose and Cc the marked add.

I don't think there is a clear "better choice". Bosses usually aren't affected by CC, stuns or slows so this cannot be the deciding factor.
So one has to look at the encounter at hand. Take Grim Batol for example (back when we didn't overgear it).
Are you preparing for a large trash pull and no one else can CC the Dragonkin?
Repentance
is the clear winner.
On Dragha it is fantastic to be able to stun the
Invocation of Flame
using
instead of only having
Hammer of Justice
. Double the reach with half the cooldown? Seems pretty great.
Finally Erudax will summon his Faceless Corruptors which can't be stunned or CC'ed but they can (and should) be slowed. Time to show them the
.
The same kind of thinking should go into the other tiers as well. Sure
Pursuit of Justice
is pretty great if you are constantly moving but if a mechanic dictates that you have to be over there, now, then Speed of Light is probably the better choice.

Exactly, bosses aren't affected by CC either.
At the moment I think that I will take the Fist if it gives me an interrupt and Repentance otherwise.
