Hey guys! :D
I was really bored and thought to myself: "hey! maybe i should mess around with the speccs?"
After messing around for awhile, i came out with this specc:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=I0LZbxczsxRZVchqr0uqoAco
HOW IT "SHOULD" BE PLAYED:
Summon imp and use Demonic Sacrifice for the 10% fire dmg buff
Use Firestone (+63 crit when it's buffed by talent)
ROTATION:
CoE, Corruption, Immolate, Incinerate spam
This is, as you may have figured a PvE specc
Anyone think it's gonna be capable of doing some good damage?
Cheers, Gehenno

in theory it doesnt look too bad i suppose. DS builds are largely dead, simply because you get a very similar buff from keeping the imp alive as you do from killing it, but it may well work.
only real thing i don't understand is 4/5 corruption.... agony is far better for proccing MC, and you only have to spend 2 talent points for a 10% boost, as opposed to 5.

this is just a slightly confused, level 80 version of the old 21/40. DS just doesn't cut it any more.

yeah, i was thinking about CoA... but then again... CoE is pretty nice and it's a bonus for the whole raid

CoEle is redundant now, it will be overwritten by both Earth and Moon, and Ebon plague.
Not a bad thing, frees us up for a dps curse!
EDIT, having another look at your spec, I really can't see any reason why this would be better than 0/31/40, just try that instead.

This was just an attempt of trying to "look away" from the 31/40 and 40/31 speccs, you know... try to find something new

That's insane, Seriously.. Playin with it now. Just keep IMP in safe form and Keep CoA / Immolate / Incinrate Up Do Conflagrate when Immo is at 3-1 sec left.

if you're going that deep into demo you'll get more from investing the extra point and using a felguard, leaving you with the (rapidly becoming) 'classic' FG/emberstorm.
it's certainly FAR better than getting conflag which will lower your output.
in Lacedon's build you take mana feed and demo empowerment so you're using your imp (not on passive which is good) but you don't take master summoner. could lead to sticky moments.
Geberg, unholy power (and imp imp to a slightly lesser extent) is wasted on a phased imp. this makes for a wasteful build.
looking for a different way to spend points is commendable but, even at this relatively early stage, all these ideas have been thought of and rejected. there is more freedom than ever in choosing a viable build but there are some talents that just offer far more than others.

I had FG for awhile... but it dies far to easy

well, your pet is your choice and on fights that you know can be hard on a pet then choosing an imp is fine but that shouldn't stop you from taking the FG talent and using it whenever you can. there are really very few fights that will kill your pet with a bit of management.
the major point is that conflag is a really bad choice.

I don't have conflag in my build :)

cool. there was a couple of builds posted, yours was the better one but FG gives a big return for one point's investment.

nah, because you have to think about the buff from MD, imp gives 5% more fire dmg and 5% more crit :)
which is slightly better then the FG buff :)

lol, no really. 5% crit is fine but the FG's dps output will be more than double that of the imp's. this difference will only become greater in a raid environment because the buffs a FG can get will increase it's dps further.

Alright, i'll try to raid with the FG tomorrow in 25man naxx :) and we'll see if i get a dps increase or not ;)
Although, raids are not happy when you don't have imp ^^ (if you're the only lock ofc)
