Tried using Icebound Fortitude and switching to Ice Presence?
Ret pallys are all about their burst (You probably knew this) so if you can, I suggest staying in Ice Presence just incase one comes, then if you can't get out of stuns you really gotta hope
A: You live through the first burst.
B: You can get out of stuns or heal afterward.

Glyph for DG and DnD and do both, should get a couple of lucky stuns in the fight that could really help limit the burst, against an equal ret paladin it's going to be a very tough fight anyway.
