At 80 it was WF/FB. FB/FT came close with lots of mastery, but you traded burst for sustained. I don't see why the situation would have changed at 85. I've written quite a bit about this with test data, but I don't have the time to look for it =(

Actually, it seems that FT/FB would be a better one than FB/FT, since Lava Lash automatically gets a 40% boost if your Offhand wep has FB on it.

You have FT and FB backwards in your post. I don't understand why you're completely discounting Windfury proc dmg. I'm already seeing individual 9k WF crits. A triple crit hits for 25k easy.

Not to mention faster MW procs which help a lot especialy in PvP.
I'm not "discounting" Windfury. I tend to stick to Windfury/Flametongue in both PvE and PvP, unless I'm farming a low-level dungeon. (In which case I switch to Frostbrand/Flametongue)
