As Trashmaster above her mentioned, the best hunter weapon atm would be the Merciless Gladiator's Crossbow of the Phoenix. In patch 2.3 there will come an Hunter only 2h axe, for only 1000 arena points. I would suggest saving up for these 2 weapons, so you would require around 4300 points (with patch 2.3, the merciles items will be a bit cheaper).

Well for one, are you talking about 58/59 pvp, or lvl 70 pvp? If you are talking about 70 pvp, you also need to choose between Arena and Battlegrounds. For Arena I would say a Beast Mastery build would be the best, for BG`s I myself love MM for it. Since you can do some great nuking, and I love my scatter + silence shot ;)
But tbh all the builds are nice for pvp, but I would say BM and MM are the best.
If you want to pvp at 59, its kinda the same, both BM and MM will do great.
BUT if you want to lvl aswell, while doing sometimes a bit of pvp, I would strongly advise you to go BM. Since the lvling will be WAY faster and easier, and your pvp will still be good + fun.
