Which do all you rogues out there prefer?
Is it better to stand and just rotate the camera in a circle, or is there really some secret advantage we get from moving around during PvP?
I don't like doing it personally, simply because I don't want to make myself look stupid while jumping around like a moron.
It's probably just me though...

Advantage. Some spells require the person to face you. So lets say you were against a destro warlock. Other than his DoTs (If he bothers to put any on you). Shadowbolt and Immolate require that he look you in the face. All you have to do is stand behind him and the cast cancels.
Works the same with mages and other casters to an extent.
As for melee, it wouldn't make a significant difference. I do have a habit of circling my targets though.

Anyway, as a rogue you should not be standing. Make your rogue dance, cuz you need to backstab (if daggers).
Yep, yep, yep. A rogue never stands still. Actually no player should stand still, even warriors. A good player never stands still, thats key in every pvp. If u ever played Quake 3, you know what i mean
Playing against a warrior for me is like dancing. Once i applied my 2 bleeds and snare, i dont get near the beast until i restealth or the bleeds wear off. In that time the warrior will be trying to use intercept and u have to move forward and backwards according to his movement, making it basically a dance
Move around, jump behind your targets, change your direction more than one time, burn a sprint and let the enemy's client get dissoriented from all the running around.
Having a non dagger spec gives u an advantage, that u can run around without having to face your enemies back in the end.
And with maces, keep SnD on and u cant lose, you'll get the mace stun eventualy xD

Attempt to constantly circle in an attempt to stay behind them. The bonus to damage you get by bypassing the Dodge and Parry %s is often enough to turn narrow losses into wins.

With lagg it can be hard to get behind a melee but if you can acount for that with how far around them you are you can effectivly take down a melee class with fast weapons DPS quite a lot, and as said it helps against casters. Against melee with two handers this is not very effective.

You can run around but jumping= you lose SOME of the control of your char, so jumping when you don't need it is... well... stupid.

You should jump around, but you have to make sure your doing it correctly and actually facing your target in some way. make sure your target is in the middle of you. you dont need to jump around when there stunned unless your daggers. But its wise to jump at all times just so they dont have a clue what to do.
jumping around will not "confuse" any decent player or make you "harder to predict" infact it makes it much easier to predict because whenever you're in the air you don't have full control of your char. Jumping around in PvE can cause lag and get your parry/block from behind a mob and in PvP it just can put you OUT of melee range, and rogues not in melee do no damage.
go watch some highly respected rogue pvp videos and you will see no jumping. not so much on the other videos.

/agree.
I was doing arena yesterday and this paladin was constantly jumping around trying to LOS me from a Drain Mana. Of course, he circled the pillar in Nagrand arena jumping and he jumped right in my face and I was able to keep draining his mana.

I pity the fool that uses mana!

Jumping? No, you only jump when you feel like scaling an obstacle. Moving around? Definitely. What, you want to stand face to face with a warrior with a skillherald and try beating him senseless? Please. A target that stands still is a much easier person to kill versus a person who constantly changes position, dodging behind walls and pillars.
Since I use mutilate I'm always moving anyways because the bastards never keep their backs to me :)

melee can't hit you when they're not facing you
they also can't parry your attacks
