Im sry this is abit late but I suggest u forget the big attention to chaos bolt ;) First of all. If ur not in decent pvp gear... Lets say full dread. Ur not gonna survive anyways. If u are. Use ur chaos bolts only to start bursting a healer or finishing him off (If he`s hp is at 100%. Start nuking him to about 50% before ccing him). Or ofc if u dont get focused on. If u got a melee on u then focus more on embers to heal u untill they forget about u etc. I have to go so this was a speedtrough but ill follow up when i got time if u need some help :)

Hey Jadeprstess,
I have a few things that may help you when being targeted, knowing that when you have low/no gear warlocks are a pushover :( but once you start building your gear you will find yourself topping the charts in both Damage and Killing Blows.
Firstly I would like to talk about the spec,
15 - Dark regeneration (30% heal and 25% healing increase)
30 - Mortal Coil (3 second fear and 15% maximum health)
45 - Soul Link (When active with Grimoire of Sacrifice it makes Grimoire of Sacrifice give you 20% more health)
60 - Blood Horror (Fear on hit)
75 - Grimoire of Sacrifice (Sacrifices Pet for an ability, I often use the voidwalker for the health buff)
90 - Kil'jaeden's cunning (Allows running and casting with slowed run speed)
These are my base abilities that I use when entering Arena/BG's *I do 2s with another DPS class*
I find that warlocks are usually targeted first in Arena because if left alone that can cause quite a lot of damage to people un-suspecting. As an opener I use
Havoc > Immolate > Incinerate > Conflagrate
This allows for quick building of your Burning Embers. Which can later be used to either finish off a target or keep you alive with Ember Tap!
Always remember to keep Twilight Ward up, use it whenever its off CD as it lasts 30 seconds with a 30 second CD. Even when fighting melee classes, warriors spell-reflects will get absorbed, rogues poisons etc.
Using all your defensives in order is also very important. So if I'm getting hammered by multiple targets first thing I do is:
Unending Resolve > Rain of Fire > Shadow Bulwark (Voidwalker Sac Ability) > Dark Regeneration > Health Stone > Rain of Fire > Moral Coil > Blood Horror > Ember Tap.
The key in this is to use Dark Regeneration before any other heals, as it makes all heals more effective, Rain of Fire is used to allow you to continue gaining Burning Embers because once you run out of Burning Embers you can no longer Ember Tap and you will die.
Remember to always keep one Burning Ember for either a Shadowburn or an Ember Tap. As fun as causing havoc with Chaos Bolt is, surviving is your main concern.
I hope this has helped, if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I agree. Some very good advice indeed. I always save chaos bolt as a finisher and when possible I suggest casting havoc with it to maximize damage.
Also if your near a full ember bar you can always spam fel flame a couple times to bump yourself up to a full burning ember.
You can also use havoc to cast up to 3 fel flames or 3 incinerates at two targets which quick builds embers.
Lastly get the conflagerate glyph as it lets you snare the target without casting immolate which is very useful.
