Before I start, let me just say that I strongly believe in the Shaman vs Paladin rivalry.
So Paladins got a huge freaking buff with their
Lay on Hands
spell. It costs 0 mana now and even gives mana at higher ranks. Let's pretend a Shaman and Paladin are dueling. Before 3.0 the paladin would use
Lay on Hands
as a last resort because it would make him/her lose all his/her mana. Now in 3.0 a Paladin can use it as a last resort again but lose no mana. It's like the duel started all over again for the Paladin.
So ok sure Paladins got a nice buff. Where's the Shaman's
Reincarnation
buff then? If they can instantly heal themselves to full health and get a bit of mana back, why can't we get the same affect from
Reincarnation
? Why can't
Reincarnation
be something better than a wipe/revenge spell? Why is
Reincarnation
still a 1 hour cooldown while
Lay on Hands
is only 20 minutes and is better in PvP?

Because PvP is based around arenas, not duels. That's the mentality.

I asume you lost a duel with a paladin and thought it was unfair? deal with it and stop the QQ
No I started another paladin alt (first one in 3.0) and felt like ranting :P

It's like blowing an elemental during a duel. If it's worth it to you to win the duel, go ahead. I've LoHed duels before (post-LK), but only because it took them quite a while to get me to 10%, thus making my choice anything but whimsical. And because I wasn't going to need the CD anytime soon.
Same deal on my sham. If I was confident I could keep the elemental and myself alive long enough to make a difference, I would do it. On the converse, if you're dueling to learn, there's no reason to blow a 20 min CD, since duels don't kill you, and you can just duel again.
