[Question] "Drop Chance", "Count" and "%" how do they relate?

Hello,
I'd like to ask for help in understanding the Wowhead Loot Tables.

Example:
Chromatically Tempered Sword
"Drop Chance: 9.45%"
"Count: 1046 out of 6140"
"%: 17"

What is that Count and what is this % column?
If I click on Chromaggus (Chromaggus) and add up all Counts, he would drop 40496 items divided by 6140 seen would result in 6,59 items.
But as far as I remember he drops far fewer items per kill like 3 or 4.
So I guess the "Drop Chance" info is correct.
But what does the other info mean then?

Can someone explain to me how that data should be interpreted?

I would assume that 6140 is the number of recorded kills, not the total number of dropped items.
