Questions about MM post patch

Hi,
Well, with the coming BM nerf, and the majority of the hunter population willing to give MM a go, I had a few questions of my own pop-up about the spec. These are mainly about rotations, specs, glyphs etc.
1. As it currently stands, I assume this would be the MM spec of choice for a hit capped level 80 hunter:
11/53/7
If there are any misplaced points or ill-advised talents taken then please feel free to correct me.
2. Taking into account the upcoming increase to the Serpent Sting glyph duration (and a suggested rotation in the following dot point), these are the top 3 Major Glyphs:
Glyph of Serpent Sting
(More Chimera Shot damage)
Glyph of Trueshot Aura
(Used for weaving Aimed Shot into your rotation)
Glyph of Steady Shot
(All hunters should have this, regardless of spec)
Are there any other glyphs which should be taken over these (e.g. Viper or IAotH)?
3. Would it be fair to assume that a basic MM rotation would try to use all CD's whenever they are up, including both Aimed Shot and Arcane Shot, prioritising Chimera > Aimed > Arcane > Steady (as well as waiting on Chimera to go off cooldown whenever an Imp Steady Shot procs so as to not waste it on an Arcane or Aimed shot). This would mean starting off with a Serpent Sting > Chimera Shot.
After this, would you go ahead and pop Aimed > Arcane followed by Steadies or weave them in later (if at all?).
Also, with the Barrage and Imp Barrage talents affecting Multi Shot as well, would you try to weave that in when facing 2+ mobs or disregard it due to its high mana cost.

those look fine. i think aspect of the viper glyph is good also, its gets you mana back faster.

A hunter, to me, that doesnt have atleast 2-3 abilities on cooldown during a fight isnt a hunter. so, i dont know if that is the right way to do it, but i would just keep shooting and make sure everything is on cooldowns.

A blue has already posted big changes to explosive shot, but I still don't know whether it's enough to make the spec produce comparable DPS to BM/MM.
Here are two changes we are going to try on the PTR.
* Arcane Shot -- mana cost lowered to the cost of Steady Shot.
* Explosive Shot -- damage increased substantially (e.g. from 260 to 520 base at rank 4), and additional scaling added to compensate. No longer deals AE damage to other targets.
Adding the AE component back might make a decent glyph or something, but really we felt like hunters had options for AE and what we really needed to do was give Survival a button that really did some major damage.
The reduced mana cost of arcane shot got me interested in weaving it into an MM rotation, but I agree with leth in that it's less worthy of a GCD because of the possibility of an ISS proc from a steady instead. This would probably also mean that the 3 points from Imp AS would go into filling out GftT and RWS.

I'm not sure if the glyph has already been buffed, but I'm pretty sure it will be in the upcoming patch. That's the main reason to have it as one of your Major Glyphs if you're rolling MM. 2 extra ticks of serpent sting to go towards your chimera damage.

On topic.. Serpent Sting glyph got stealth buffed according to BRK: increases Serpent Sting duration by 6 seconds now, not 3. I trust him but someone might want to confirm..
Yes, it will be buffed to 6 seconds.
