While you're levelling I would always take spellpower over haste, for boss fights haste is a valuable stat, but doesn't come close to spellpower.
This article
on Elitist Jerks has a good summary of what's important to a raiding affliction 'lock.
The relative values for a Naxx starter geared 'lock are:
10 hit rating = 12.71 dps
10 spell power = 11.48 dps
10 haste rating = 4.26 dps
10 crit rating = 4.09 dps
10 spirit = 3.79 dps
10 int = 1.24 dps

For affliction warlocks I think SP is most important, followed by mana regen, followed by mana pool, followed by hit chance, followed by HP.
That is just my opinion.

Mana regen of the passive MP5/spirit type isn't important at all for affliction 'locks as they can Life Tap or Dark Pact (if specced) to regain mana.
Mana pool size is also unimportant for the same reasons, if you need more mana just Life Tap or Dark Pact.
Hit chance (hit rating) is the most important stat until you're hit-capped, then it's worthless.
