You'll see a lot of ERP there, a lot of Mary Sues, and a lot of bad things. But as that's not real RP, just stay away from it, or put them on report spam/ignore and go about your own role playing.

From what I understand, both Goldshire and SMC are tagged as emo/cyb0r zones where people RP fetishes.
Well, with Goldshire it's justified. It basically attracts all of the idiots and lollers and @#$%ty night elves dancing on mailboxes, nobody knows why - but it is speculated that an Old God causes mass insanity within that radius. Sometimes, these types migrate to, and try to infect, Stormwind. The Cathedral area has been quite bad lately on Argent Dawn (EU), with worgens sniffing vaginas and raping/biting people, in front of the Archbishop....

Silvermoon City also has a loller reputation, but in all honesty, again on AD EU, you just have to be wise about where you go. The Wayfarer's, its immediate vicinity and the Bazaar area tends to attract the more questionable roleplay, but the rest of the city - Court of the Sun, Royal Exchange and Farstrider's square, for instance, are generally much higher quality in their roleplaying.
TL;DR - You lose your mind and decide to strip and have sex with draenei, giving birth to a gnome (yes, you are a dead night elf...but I've seen it. The joys of levelling up a human.).
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

During early and late hours is the worst on WA.
Mid-day you find a barable Goldshire, just don't head downstairs of the Inn...
Silvermoon is so large it is usually fairly easy to avoid, even during the worst of times.

Simply put, yeah, the reputation started and now it's only something that survives because of the rep.
At least it's expected, unlike the Deeprun Tram incident. That was funny.

played once a lowbie on a rp realm, in the evening i went too goldshire and have seen unspeakable horrors there, from guys pretending too have sex witheachother in the inn too entire macro spam duels, you can also go too far in RPing

I created an alt on Moon Guard and went to Goldshire just to see for myself how bad things were (don't judge me). I saw plenty of naked/provocotivley dressed night elves and whatnot, but no *cough*activities*cough*. I assumed they were keeping it to a private chat, which I think is wise.
