Tauren is a base health increase not stamina. Plus undead have cannibalize which is nice when your bandages are on cool down.

Plus, Beserking can be used in conjunction with Hysteria pretty well. I'm not saying this is a game-changing, DPS rocketting little trick, but it works alright.

And yes, troll be flippin' out, mon! I'd say the VooDoo Shuffle is really on par with Hardiness on a PvP level.

this is for horde.

I chose an orc because of axe buff, pet buff, AP buff and the stun passive. All the racials for orc are killer for DKs, in any situation. some of the other racials for DK tend to be situational, and are best for one part of the game, while orc racials lean toward all aspects. I'm sure people will disagree with me there, but even if, say, tauren racials can be said toward the same argument, they are slightly less impressive to me (for DKs)

As for Horde, Orc is the superior race for DPS. Troll is alright for DPS as well.
Tauren, Undead and Blood Elves are the PvP choices with Tauren and Blood Elves having alright tanking racials as well.

For those of you who roll Alliance (as much as I hate you...)

The choice is a tough one for Alliance. If you have a lot of Draenei in your raid usually, go Dwarf or Human for the Expertise racial (from a pure DPS point of view).
Human has the added benefit of having Diplomacy and Every Man For Himself, while Dwarf has Stoneform for little extra DPS boost with Bladed Armor.
Gnomes don't really have any edge over any other class, Escape Artist for PvP is pretty nice though.
Night Elves are primarily a tanking race now.

Blood Elf isn't bad, with Arcane Torrent, you have the ability to silence a target, stopping that heal from getting off, or that spell from bouncing off your dome... PLUS, and here's what I like about it, the Arcane Torrent also gives you 15 Runic Power, so with the Horn of Winter glyph, you arcane torrent, and Horn of Winter just before starting a boss fight, and everyone in your raid has the bonus 155 Str and Agi to start the fight off with!

I'd say the VooDoo Shuffle is really on par with Hardiness on a PvP level.
Especially for DK's since the class has talents that stack with both of those racials (Toughness and On a Pale Horse). Add a gem that further reduces stun duration or slowing effect duration and you see how those are kickass racials for class who's weakness is being kited.

/Orc loyalist, but glad to see troll racials are more viable now too.
