Omen was my guilds only "must have" mod and i never ever ever used it. You should not be getting aggro at all while raid healing.
I tried grid and it didnt work well for me.
I found the best thing for me was simply Xperl raidframes, and clique. Recount is good if you need a healing meter and obviously deadlybossmods or bigwigs.
I hear a lot about healbot too but never tried it.

imo.. all you need is:
1. deadly boss mods
2. ct raid assist
3. a healing mtr (to become more efficient with your heals/timing)
4. omen imo is not that necessary for a healing priest and threat should not be an issue in wotlk
anything else would be personal prefrence.

Well the only mod I use while healing raids is DBM, which EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ANYWAYS
I sort of agree with Seneca the default UI isn't that bad for raid healing, it's not that they are for the weak it's just for those that want it.
I've never had anyone complain about my healing in 10 or 25 man raids done most end game except for 25-Mal and and OS+3 drakes for both 10 and 25 man
Omen is pretty much worthless only time you'll pull aggro is during the boss add spawns b4 your OT picks them up
I have heard lots of people use Xperl, Healbot, Grid, clique.
