I always try to keep rake up and running because combined with rip they grind down the mob effectively. Also i use the rake glyph which keeps the mob from fleeing, which in turn makes my tanks life easier due to the mobs trying to bail and run. My rotation is norm Pounce (if stunable) if not ravage, mangle, rake (should be at 5cp now) Savage roar (SR), then rake/mangle if debuffs are down, then shred to 4/5cp then rip. i use SR because it has a sig effect on white damage as well as your shreds and mangles.
