To be fair, you don't need a great gfx card to run Wow. Plus, he said his previous computer was a 4yr old laptop, his gaming experience is still going to be like coming from the dark in to the light.
Also, he never said how much he paid for it. And that gfx card can always be upgraded.

Let's boil this down to what you'll look at for WoW...
Cost: (doesn't matter, you said you already bought it)
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: AMD Phenom II quad-core
RAM: 6 GB DDR3
Hard drive: 750 GB
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220
All the rest of that information is useless to look at in terms of WoW. No clue why folks think that a TV tuner or Microsoft Works makes a difference when it comes to playing a video game. I hope you don't plan on using wireless, though - it's less secure and, from what I've heard, less reliable than an ethernet cable.
