Re- Rolling

Well seeing that hunters are being tremendously nerf'd I've decided to re-roll. The only problem is I don't know what to play as now. I've narrowed it down to a priest, shammy, rogue, or DK. I'd like to hear from some people who have played them why I should play one. Thanks!

well, i got a druid, shaman, hunter at 70, a rogue at 67 and a dk at 80.

right now i love my dk, i did love my hunter once, but there was just never a need for dps.
shamans and priests can spec both dps and heal, which is nice if you want a change in playstyle at some point, rogues are just boring for me, they don't appeal at all. DK's can both tank and dps, again, you have a chance to do what you want. a druid can do all three.

i suggest you play them all a bit, see what you like the most.

I've *tried* both, but got bored of the priest by 20. That's probably when the priest starts to shine though, as I've heard that they actually level quite well.

I'm a little biased towards the shaman, I've loved every minute of levelling him. Never had issues with mana, survivability, dps or interest.

Be a Shammy

I am a huge Hybrid honk and fully beleive to be happy fully in game with a class you should be able to change it's role rather than re rolling to a new class. Think of it as getting 3 classes in one character. Collect a set for each spec.

Appologies to pure classes but with recent changes made by blizzard it is completely a Hybrid world now.

By the way a Hybrid is a Druid a Paladin or a Shaman, you must be able to fulfill all three roles. Stay away from DK's they are a joke and limited to 2 roles and vastly over populated.

Priests are <3, the best class in the world and it sucks that people keep saying druids/shammies/pallies are better at healing because its not true. Pure classes will always beat the hybrids when played to their potential and priests still top the meters when done right, with or without CoH.

But to answer your question, shamans are far easier to level. Priests are better to level now than way back when, and ofc you can level as shadow so its not too bad but probably one of the harder classes to get to 80. Also our big pay off is at the higher levels where as shaman gets totems and things as it levels.

Priests can be so amazing in any aspect when played right but you get out what you put in. Its not an easy mode class by any respect.

Personally though, i'd go DK. 55 less levels.. 58 if you don't count the AMAZING introductory zone :-)
