Recount shows necrosis is worthless?

Hey all,
Here is my dilema, I was using recount and swinging on the 80 heroic boss training dummy. According to one round of 50 swings all melee it showed 56k damage and necrosis doing a whooping 422. Now I only have 4/5 in necrosis.
Tried a complete fight and popped everything including the gargoyle and necrosis did 0% damage it did not even make 1% though out a fight. Is recount broken, or will I do better to place it in other talents I was thinking 2/3 for outbreak, while situational would be better. And going from 3/5 to 5/5 in Bladed armor increasing my base AP by another 150. Hoping recount is not working right but looks like it might be. Thanks.

Some abilities only do 1 damage on dummies. Try with a real target.

Necrosis won't do Overkill damage to Training Dummys. It's still pretty crap though.

Dont try necro on testdummys it wont work .. It wont do any dmg since its bugged.. You will do more dmg with nerco on a real target

Try using it on the raidboss training dummy in Ebon Hold (Highlord's Nemesis or something like that, stands in the middle of the dummies), it has real hp, however it's considered a 80boss (3lvls above you) so dodge will be a rather high avoidancefactor and will still not really justify your dps or Necrosis and such abilities.

Necrosis isn't good by itsself. It gets bonuses from Rage of Rivendare (UH) and Ebon Plague. I've had it hit for 1k+ in raids. It stacks well with Haste, also.
