Replacing PvP Heirlooms with JP ones?

I've been debating this for sometime. I'm maxed on JP and I got both my Main and Off Spec 'done' (ie gear ilvl 346+) so I dont need anything from the JP vendor. Was wondering if I should spend some JP on the PvE heirlooms to replace my PvP ones I'm using on my alt. Just wondering what everyone thinks. :)

i got a full set for my mage and my 4 toons (pally, priest, druid, hunter) are already 85 so only my warrior alt could use them. and I dont really need the mats since my professions are maxed. I could save them for the upcoming (few months) major patch, in case they make the tiers cost JP.
Ya that's the reason why im debating it still, 3500 JP for a weapon! that's expensive! and all i get is resil -> crit, and i think abit stat difference.
but if I don't spend my JP on something, i'm going to have nothing to use them for and I won't get anymore JP when I run more heroics lol
more thoughts please :)
PS: a lot of my guild members told me to go ahead and spend it since I got nothing to do with them, and also to grab the weapon first. but it just seems so expensive! >.<

I would not buy heirlooms to replace PVP ones, I would just buy new heirlooms for a different spec. One thing to consider, Blizzard stated that they do hope to add a feature where heirlooms can be used on different servers, even if you have no intention of creating a character for that spec now, you might change your mind later.
Leveling with pvp heirlooms is extremely fast.. the difference by having pve ones will be negligible. If you kill a mob in 6 seconds instead of 7, does it really matter when traveling is what takes all the time.

Azrile's right. I went ahead and collected pretty much all of them for stone keeper's shards and emblems back in the day, and I can confirm that there really isn't much of a noticeable difference.
That said, you may want to pick up the PvE trinkets. They're pretty badass, and they're
not
unique-equipped, so you can use two.
If you do buy a weapon, make sure to stick a good enchant on it. At low levels, the enchant is worth more than the weapon itself.
Example
I leveled a sub rogue with two daggers with enchants. nothing survived ambush.

Example
I got
Reforged Truesilver Champion
with Crusader. Doesn't look as bada@@ as the Arcanite Reaper though, but do you think it should be replaced?
I guess I should of listed what I have. I got
Strengthened Stockade Pauldrons
,
Polished Breastplate of Valor
, the sword, and that's about all lol.

I think im going to replace the gear, but not through JP, well least not all of them. i found that I can still get them with Champion's Seals :)
