Request from Wowhead
Return to board index
Hello Wowheadians again,
Ive been trying to find some Trade forums all over the internet, but haven't been that lucky, so since am Wowheadian myself i'd like to request and if possible for the admins, mods etc etc to add another section in Wow General - trade for both the Eu and Us servers.
I think it will be pretty cool since, sometimes we can't get it dropped or can't find something in AH we might be luckier to find it hear
Hope my topic its sensible and we can be granted this topic if of course is 'legal' for someone to say

Wouldn't the respective realm forums on the official site be better suited for this?
Similar forums on Wowhead would just mimic those, for a significantly smaller audience.
I agree with Nulgar. Very few people on Wowhead are on the same realm. Using the actual realm forums would be a lot easier.
Infact, when people post on here looking for items to buy/sell/trade they usually get locked and told its better to ask on their realm forum.
i tottaly agree with you guys but i think more people are using this site not only for trading but for questing achievments etc.
Blizzards official site doesnt include all all this and the feedback personaly is stornger here than there. e.g it would be easier and faster to sell/buy something using wowhead rather than the official site
And dont forget am one of those that uses wowhead more than wow-europe. another reason why its the trollers and belive me officia site has a lot compare to here
Yes they use the site for quest, achievements and other things such as mount/pet collecting.
But they don't have to join the forums to do that. If they wanted to trade items, they would have to make accounts to talk with people.
I'm not sure what percent of the player base are active members on Wowhead, but I'm sure it is a small amount. I'm sure you can find a list of the members in Wowhead. But most of those are just simple accounts used for entering contests, used to spam or are just made to comment on something.
And there are some who don't play, or haven't played in some time, that still use the site. Such as myself.
There is also the fact that the Wowhead forums are mainly English only, except for the feedback section. And I'm sure at least a third of the player base aren't English speakers.
i tottaly agree with you guys but i think more people are using this site not only for trading but for questing achievments etc. That's because quest/achievement hints aren't tied to servers, but trades are.
