I am getting ready to do a complete reset of my UI. However, my xperl, carbonite, bankitems, etc have the stored profiles from EVERY character I have ever made. Yes, even the level 1 realm tester to see if a realm was worth moving to.
Does anyone know how to get all this data gone without deleting all of my addons and fully starting from scratch?

Make sure you are fully exited out of WoW.
Open the World of Warcraft installation directory. Usually,
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\
.
Look for the folder named
WTF
. This is your settings.
Rename the folder to something else, eg
WTF.backup
.
Your backed up settings are now at
WTF.backup
. A fresh
WTF
folder will be created upon the next launch of WoW, with all settings defaulted. Alternately you can create a new one yourself, and WoW will populate it with the necessary default files upon next launch.
If you want to specifically save certain addons' settings, you can then copy those addons' settings from your backup over to the new WTF folder:
Navigate into
WTF\Account\<youracctname>\SavedVariables\
and copy any addons' files over (named exactly as the addon's folder name).
Navigate into
WTF\Account\<youracctname>\<servername>\<charactername>\SavedVariables
and do the same as above. These are character-specific settings, so you will need to do this for all characters.
Any given addon may or may not have either of the above files. Some addons have one or the other, or both.
Edit:
By the way, no settings whatsoever are stored in the actual addon folder at
Interface\AddOns\<addonname>\
. Deleting and reinstalling an addon will have zero effect, since all settings and other saved things are stored solely in WTF.

Thanks, I knew someone around here would have to know. The saved profiles are getting to be a pain when you have 37 characters in your bankitems addon, 27 of which don't exist anymore, or 37 profiles in xperl.
