Resto druids, how do you do solo questing/dailies at 80?

Respec Boomkin for farming days, use your heal gear. If you need to stay resto, simply go Starfire - Moonfire - Wrath spam.

I go with my healing gear and moonfire wrath.
Best is if I can herd together 4 or 5 and barkskin, Hurricane, Hurricane until stuff dies.
This. Tabbing through and using moonfire is also a good idea prior to using hurricane. It isn't ideal, but it works better than most ideas. If they come cheaply through a guildmate or something, perhaps equipping a Glyph of Wrath for single target stuff?

I collected a moonkin set. I use that for soloing. Starfire, root, moonfire, starfire, etc.. until dead. Works good. A little slow but downtime is very little.

This, except screw getting a second set. Just use your tree gear. All this will hopefully become a moot point once dual specs are in game.
Well, considering most of the heroics I run are guild runs, collecting moonkin gear is a non issue. I won't spend my badges on it until I don't need them for my resto set. Actually, I have a 17% crit rate in my dps set which really helps soloing as a resto. And when I pug, I am the healer, and if leather moonkin drops and someone has a problem with me taking for offspec, oh well. I am usually polite enough to pass on shards at the end of the run, if I collected several pieces (main or offspec) in the run.
Oh and having a decent moonkin set is also nice since, I quite often respec to moonkin for heroics when I go with my GL(tank) and his wife(resto druid). Thankfully, they play 2x's as much as I do and she has all the gear she needs from heroics, so I can still collect any pieces of gear I want, resto or moonkin.
