mage and resto shammy is a fairly popular 2s comp.

I don't know enough about resto shammies to give you much more feedback. But at face value, it shouldn't be a terrible setup with a frost mage instead.

I used to do 2s on my Resto Sham with a Fire/Frost Mage we used to do pretty well with a 90+ win %age, not done any arenas since before Panderia but would like to give it a try as I find the Sham healing in PvP is great fun and I haven't even hit lvl90 yet.
