Shaman don't gear spirit because they have no talent which allows a % of spirit regen while casting, and lack abilities which aid in maximizing time outside of the five second rule. All spell casters will want spellpower, however I would advise against going Restoration until you're max level unless you don't plan on doing anything solo.
soloing as resto is awesome, what are you talking about? It might be slower, but if you do things right, there's no downtime. That and many other fabulous prizes await if you decide to go resto! ACT NOW

count with me :) no downtime ok but longer killing time, so i will prefer to kill someone in matter of secs and then sit and drink which would be much way faster than killing someone 30 secs as a resto

Erm, it's quite possible to have zero downtime as enhancement, as well as elemental if you do things right (albeit, it requires you to kill slower than your potential, yet still a hell of a lot faster than resto).
The speed of killing as resto frustrates me during dailies and such, so I can't imagine how much I'd have hated levelling with it...still, I suppose if you don't mind the disgustingly large amount of time it takes to kill a mob you might enjoy it...

Yeah, leveling Resto has got to be the dumbest idea ever and occasionally some debby-do-right decides to advocate it with the ridiculous logic that leveling resto somehow prepares you for healing in a group. You would be better served leveling enh or ele and taking all the time you save yourself to go on a few runs in easier dungeons. There is very little that anyone "learns" about healing grinding as a resto shaman, since you are basically just an elemental shaman at that point without talent points. Nuke or smack until dead - can someone tells me how that prepares anyone to heal an instance?
Mp5, Int, Spellpower, Haste and Crit (anything with hit on it is probably not for you) - keep a secondary set of gear from 75+ with these stats on them so you have something decent to change into when you hit 80 and then dive into some dungeons.

People who choose to "level resto" are, I hope, mostly instance grinding. In that case, yes, it will give you some experience healing. You lose out on questing, which grants nice xp, rewards, and honor doing this, however, so I don't personally recommend it.
