Rogues and Hunters use AP for PvP instead of Agi as they do in PvE because Agi gives 1 AP and slight crit.
However in PvP, due to Resilience, constantly hitting slightly harder is better than hitting slightly harder some of the time.

Hunters and rogues have a distinct gain, 16 agility is 16 ap, 16 str is 16 ap..32 ap is 32 ap. Warriors deathknights and paladins gain 2 ap per str. then you have blessing of kings which multiplies your stats like str, it doesn't multiply ap.
Stacking str is the obvious choice with that in mind.

Just to be picky, rogues dont
use
gem agi in PvE anymore.
Good way of explaining it though, i must say.

I think he's asking this because most of the PvP gear available is shared which makes most of the non-set gear (rings, cloak etc.) have agi and AP instead of STR.
