If you are tanking, you won't be able to focus so much on Hit, Str and Crit and you'll need to grab some defense, avoidance and expertise because Rune Strike isn't always available - and it will be available even less if you don't have the avoidance to make it proc.
The damage will be nerfed soon and the threat buffed, rune strike was changed to an on next melee ability in order to make DK threat less prone to spikes when a hard hitting attack missed or got resisted, if you have enough expertise not only will you get hit less and take less damage because of the parry swing reset.

My question is this: Should I bother with expertise? My main reason for asking is that Rune strike, which seems to be a fairly significant portion of my RP dump for DPSing, only procs on Blocks and Parrys, which Expertise would diminish.
i was thinking that it procs when YOU parry or dodge, so if we assume this, mobs dont stack expertise, and you are stacking parry and dodge, so when YOU (again) dodge or parry then it procs, so YOU can stack expertise because if mobs doesnt dodge or parry nothing happend, do you get it?
