"Very good." Avaritia said pleasantly, the rifle barrel sliding back into her sleeve and her hand emerging. "Now, as long as you did not see anything in there, I will not be forced to kill you. You are more valuable alive after all." She told Coria mildly as she approached the elf.

"I have no value, trust me," Coria denied and shook her head. "So you should just let me go back to my cell and call it a day."

"Now that is a bald faced lie. Everyone has value, I assure you." She added, her golden eyes analyzing the elf before her. "I can tell how much a person is worth quite easily." Avaritia assured Coria.

The skin of Simon's fingers split open like ten flowers, his muscles and tendons stretching out in miniscule tendrils to dig beneath the worgens skin, the foul mixture that was Jax's blood pouring out steadily from the holes as the young former warden worked.
"I can't promise he'll be back to normal, but he should be able to at least move around under his own will for a little while until his body heals. I'm basically just putting in some new muscles and replacing enough blood to hopefully keep him moving for awhile." Simon explained.
"Will he live?" Asmodeus asked. Simon merely shrugged.
"You could call it that I suppose."

"And what am I worth? A copper? Unpaid labor?" Coria lashed out and threw her arms in the air.

"At the moment for material vlaue, organs and all things told, you are worth forty seven gold, eight silver and fourteen copper. But let me tell you this," Avaritia added, placing her hand on Coria's shoulder, "value is something that is always in flux. You can become much more valuable, I can see it." Avaritia assured the elf.

"Oh lovely, forty seven gold," Coria muttered to herself. She did not mind the physical contact, but after her encounter with the shape-shifting monster earlier, she had to be more careful. "And how could I be even more valuable?" She questioned.

"Well that depends. For example," Avaritia continued, moving to Coria's side and slinging an arm around the elf comfortingly, "a laborer is valuable as they perform a service. Now, what can you do? I see something involving magic about you..." Avaritia trailed off, narrowing her golden eyes in concentration at Coria.

"Yes, I am a mage, after all," Coria pointed out. She was not sure of Avaritia's intentions, but surely it could not be good.

"I see. The collar was restricting it no doubt when I first looked. Were you skilled?" She asked.

The young elf rolled her eyes and shrugged. She answered, "I am skilled to a certain level, however my studies were cut short and not to mention I am fairly young."

"Oh? How so?" Avaritia asked curiously, filing that information away for future use.

"Well, the damned walking dead destroyed my homeland, killed my family, and annihilated Dalaran, the city where I was studying," She explained for probably the millionth time in her life. Every time, the pain of the past surfaced and caused the young elf emotional suffering.

"Of course you couldn't," Coria muttered as she looked away from Avaritia's eyes.

"If I may inquire, why did you not try and resume your studies afterwards?" Avaritia asked, giving a small reassuring pat to Coria's shoulder.

"I couldn't bring myself to do so. Depression and all that." Coria sobbed a little.

"Ah, understandable I assure you. Some of our brightest become bogged down like that. But, knowing tragedy means you can prevent others from having to experience it. If I may ask without seeming impertinent, do you regret the decision which brought you here?" Avaritia asked, giving Coria a slight squeeze of support.

She did not even need to think to answer the question. She knew very well what to say. Coria chuckled for a few moments and answered, "Regret my decision? Of course not. The stuff I have done was to keep myself alive; self preservation and all that. My only regret is my life in general," She then made a single loud laugh and continued, "I would kill myself if I could."

"Well now that would just be a waste of a very willful and skilled individual. After going through what you did many would simply lie down and die in their depression. But you had the will to survive and move forwards. Could it be that you did so because you have a goal?" Avaritia asked coolly.

"A goal? My goal is to live, but isn't that everyones?" Coria replied. She still did not mind this conversation or Avaritia in general, it was just a tad bit odd to her.
