Secondary stats in PVP (holy)

Greetings fellow inhabitants of the bubble!

Recently I discovered the joy of a holy paladin in PVP.
I still need to learn alot, but so far all is going pretty ok, and I'm having a good time playing it.

I've read alot of guides about how to PVP and which enchants/talents to use.
But I've come to a point where I have questions about gear.
What should a holy paladin go for?

I'm talking about non-tier pieces like boots, belt, bracers and cloaks where we have the choice between + spirit, + crit, + masteryor + resi.

More to the point:
This is me.
At the moment I'm playing a 2v2 combo with an arms warrior. Keeping his health up while he's taking loads of damage isn't a problem. Mostly our oponents choose to focus on me. I have no mana issues unless i'm being burned by a priest.

So, as a practical example:
Which one of the following trinkets do I have to use in order to gain the most 'benefit' of it:
Resi
Spirit (with the option to reforge to crit)
Crit

In the past I've mostly chosen for the spirit gear, and reforged it to crit.
I made a few exceptions like the trinket and the cloak. (Cloak is mastery because I won it in BH)

I've come to a point where I can't use honor points anymore. Conquest points are a bit harder to get, so I want to spend them right from the beginning.

Any advice, experience or examples would be highly appreciated!

Okay first off I'm not an expert or even particularly experienced PVP Holy Pally, but I recently respecced into Holy to fill a gap in a 3s team and I've been asking a lot of the same questions as you, field testing things and reading up on it extensively.

This seems to be the thinking.

1. Haste Is Weak
When we're being focused all the haste in the world won't help, we live or die by holy shock, WoG and our teammates' peeling. When we're able to freecast all the haste in the world won't make that much difference either, what'll count is mana regen.

2. Resilience Is What It Is
It's on all our PVP gear and we can't reforge it. It's far from useless, of course, but the only decision you can really make in respect of resil. is to gem into it, and for that it's clearly inferior to Intellect so don't.

3. Mastery Is... Meh
Of course we've got a lot more options regarding Mastery than Resilience but bearing in mind how hard it is to stack it to a significant level, what it comes down to is a. is it better than haste (yes) and b. is it better than crit or spirit (no). So...

4. The Real Decision Is Between Spirit & Crit
Crit is important for extra healing (obvs) and Infusion of Light procs, all of which will significantly boost our healing output. Spirit is similarly important to stop us running out of mana (obvs). The trick of gearing for us then is to find a balance between spirit and crit that works. If you're not having mana problems you can prob gem and reforge more into crit, if you're regularly going OOM favour spirit a bit more.

But as far as gearing choices go, so long as everything you pick has either crit or spirit on it (as far as possible - off the top of my head there are a few compulsory PVP mastery pieces I think?) you'll be fine.

You could also go for some PVE pieces, eg: I use a PVE Spirit trinket so I can stack more crit elsewhere.
