I don't know Galls UF ... but it is possible, that this addon uses the file layout-local.txt which is in your character folder. In this file every frames position is saved. The content looks something like this:
Frame: MinimapCluster
FrameLevel: 0
Anchor: TOPLEFT
X: -21
Y: 8
W: 192
H: 192
Frame: ChatFrame1
FrameLevel: 7
Anchor: BOTTOMLEFT
X: 1
Y: 36
W: 361
H: 100
Frame: ChatFrame2
FrameLevel: 9
Anchor: BOTTOMLEFT
X: 1
Y: 36
W: 361
H: 76
Browse through this file and search for something that points to unit frames.
If you simply delete the folder of an addon in the subdirectory of "Interface" you still have the config files stored in your WTF folder. Search the content of the "SavedVariables" folders (one in your account directory and one in your character directory) and delete everything that has to do with Glass UF (maybe make a backup before you start deleting!).
That's the only two things I can think of atm. Good luck!

Q. I have un-installed GlassUnitFrames and now my Blizzard Default Frames are not in the usual location. How do I restore their original position?
A. Enter the following script into your chat box and then Reload your UI.
/script PlayerFrame:SetUserPlaced(false); TargetFrame:SetUserPlaced(false); PartyMemberFrame1:SetUserPlaced(false);Insert witty comment offending people's intelligence by suggesting they have an inability to read and/or are blind.

And you're part of a long line of people upholding that tradition in the UI forums.
