Faithbender Praey, Nuhm Voidcaller, Ashiena Liontusk & Berkana Greenroot
Grizzly Hills
Praey paused for a moment, listening. "Yeah. Ah dunno, it's not comin' from da town so ah tink were fine. Yah concerned?" she asked, watching Kiran.
Nuhm hummed to himself quietly.
~
"What a pleasure," Berkana smiled. "Join me?" she offered, stepping back to the table and holding her arm out invitingly. She signaled the waite, standing and waiting for the others to sit before she did so herself. "I trust your travels went well?"
~
Ashiena screamed again as she fell backwards, just missing gettin impaled by the monstrous claws of the bear. A shield came out of nowhere, crashing through the smoke-like body of the spirit beast and hitting the ground. The bear looked for the source, and Ashiena took the opportunity to scramble backwards.
"Don't kill him!" Ashiena called desperately, unable to see the source of the blow. She was bleeding profusely from large slashes on her shoulder, side and thigh. She approached the bear again, limping from the wounds in her leg.
"Great spirit beast, I would be honoured to be yah Sista!" she called again, her voice desperate as tears ran down her cheeks.

"Well of course; someone screamed and that didn't sound like a fun one to me." The half-elf said, and took a step in the direction of the scream. He closed his eyes and tried to hear better, his head tilted; he could hear more sounds from that direction. "I think I need to go check it out." He told Praey.
"Thank you." Talia said, taking on the chairs. She was still staring at the male elf, her eyes slightly narrowed as Tae began to get flustered. "They went quite well actually, other then the Accord fostering a youngster off on me and picking up a troll in heat and an addled brained warlock." She said with a grin.
"
So the standard group you work with then yes?
" Mari said, taking a seat as well and smiling at the half-elf from within her hood. Koran sat down near the Night Elf, his head tilted a little as he looked her. Tae took the last seat and slunk down, wishing he was anywhere but here.
"Funny Lady Marigosa, very funny." Talia said with a strained smile, not wanting to make the dragoness angry. "So, Berkana, do you have any news from the Greens? My informant told he gave you some scrolls." She asked the Night Elf.

"Well, it's either you or him, lass!" he called back down, but listened to her and didn't attack the bear. He stopped his gryphon a few feet above the bear, out of its sight and watched intently. He didn't want to alert it any further and get the troll killed.

Tristan took one of the leftover chairs and looked at everyone seated (not for very long, of course--manners and all that) and felt a tad overwhelmed.
I should have stayed back with the others, this is all going to go straight over my head!
He clasped his hands together and stared at his feet under the table.

((ooc: Sorry for not intervening but school occupies almost all my day. Should I not be able to log for a day or two, consider Axe to remain in the camp if someone goes to scout, preparing bear stew and dinner; or if all the group decides to go somewhere, to move alongside them))
Axe
Grizzly Hills
Axe had gone bear hunting to make some stew. When he heard the scream, he left Nihilion eating one bear carcass, took the other one to his arm, and leaped towards the camp. Upon arriving , he threw the bear carcass to the ground, and asked "Axe heard scream, and we decided to came. Are you all fine?" Axe had a bad feeling, and he unsheathed his massive weapons, moving them like they were of wood.

"Well den, less go," Praey nodded, placing her sticks in a pile. Axe had returned and Praey smiled at him. "We all safe - da oddas are still in Amberpine," she said with a shrug. "Ah guess Kiran here wanna go ta check out dat scream, whad a sweetie," the priestess grinned, patting Kiran on the shoulder.
Nuhm rolled his eyes, growing increasingly bored with this entire situation. Why were they going to investigate this scream? It obviously didn't involve them. "I'll stay and watch camp," he sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
~
The great bear watched Ashiena, his teeth bared in a snarl. Ashiena coughed, feeling very weak and lightheaded. "Please, I'd be honoured.." she repeatedly, trying to keep her voice steady over the pain. "We'd make a great team, yah an' I," the troll said quietly.
~
Berkana chuckled at Tristan. "You should look up child, eye contact is very good for character," she said kindly, folding her arms on the table near the open tome. She looked around at everyone, her eyes lingering on Tae'sash for a few more seconds than the others. "Same goes for you
half
elf, slouching is very bad for your health," she chuckled.
She finally addressed Tahlia. "Yes, Lady Tahlia. I have looked over them, but I'm afraid it appears to be the standard information given to
all
flights," Berkana said, waving her one hand in the air dismissively. "However, I have been doing some reading myself, as I'm sure you all have been doing as well... and I came across this tome."
She tapped on the page, her silver painted nails making a dull tap on the parchment. "It appears to be a journal or some sort of book written by a follower of Deathwing. Some of the book is in Common, some in Draconic, and some in a type of code that a few Greens and some associates - myself included - have been trying to decipher."
Berkana took a break as the waitress came to take their orders. "I'll have another water, thank you," she smiled to the waitress.

Kiran flushed a little but shrugged. "Can't leave someone who screams like that alone." Kiran said and pointed in the direction he thought it has come from. "That way, so let's go." He said and moved off quickly, focused on the task.
"May I see that?" Both Talia and Mari asked at the same time reaching for the book. The two looked at each other then chuckled. "Please, go ahead Lady Mari." Talia said, drawing her hand back.
"
Oh let's not do that shall we.
" Mari said and placed a hand onto the book, a few faint scales showing at her wrist from where it came out of the robe. She murmured a word, and the letters and images from the page rose up over the book, letting everyone see it. "
Hm, that is a strange cypher.
" She murmured, leaning forward and tapping the floating symbols, making a second window like projection pop out so she could see them better.
"As always Mistress, your magic is amazing." Koran said, beaming at the dragoness who nodded absently, focusing on reading the page.
"I've seen this one before." Talia said, touching another part of the image and focusing on what she wanted to see. "I know some dragonic, and Kiran can help with the rest." She muttered absently, scanning the information.
Tae shuddered a little and sank down in his chair, feeling glad that Talia was focused on the book now.

Axe
Grizzly Hills
Nihilion arrived with a fresh bear carcass, and Axe put it alongside the other, as he started a small fire with the local wood and the one he had bought at Dalaran. "Good, Axe will stay to cook dinner. Bear stew and hot coffee!" He pulled out of Nihilion's bags a pair of pots, some cups and plates, and a little metal structure that he put over the fire. As he patted Nihilion, Axe whispered: "Axe will cook dinner. You that have eaten already, go watch over the elf and the troll. Axe wants them alive. They helping us" Nihilion roared and flied away. Axe then pulled out a knife and two small bags, and started slicing the bear meat into pieces. He turned towards the warlock, and said: "How much salt and herbs you and the priestess like in the stew? I like it strong, and probably the elf wants a more subtle flavor." Axe then laughed a while, and concentrated in his work.

Tristan's head snapped up at Berkana's words, and he nodded eagerly. He sucked in a sharp breath and was about to calm down somewhat before Mari began her little show above the tome. The boy's eyes opened wide, and despite himself, found his fingers moving underneath the table in incoherent patterns. It was all he could do to avoid casting magic just staring at the bizarre spell the woman was using.

Praey followed Kiran, stepping quickly to catch up with him. Her steps were awkward - her shoes made her very uncomfortable. "Alone in da woods," she teased, looking at Kiran out of the corner of her eye.
Nuhm shrugged, moving closer to Axe. "Rich flavour is fine by me and Praey will eat anything," he chuckled. "So you're name is Axe, correct? We weren't properly introduced - I'm Nuhm," he said, offering his hand to the orc.
~
"Yes, I've translated some of the draconic myself," Berkana said, watching Mari's magic with caution and interest. Magic always made her a tad nervous, considering what happened with the Well of Eternity. She made sure to look each individual in the eyes as she talked.
"Most of it appears to be the ramblings of a cultist, his mind clearly not whole. But some truth must lie within these words, I am certain.
"One part says: 'Fear the blue, red, bronze, green, inside the chamber grey lies, never lies, rise once the blackness falls and turns to day.' It is quite curious," Berkana admitted. "But the code.. so far the Greens have had no luck breaking it. I was hoping either of your flights would be of great assistance here," she chuckled.

Kiran coughed again at that comment but remained focus on what he was doing. "If you wish to look at it that way." He said quietly, slowing a little as he could hear sounds ahead. "Stay here Praey, just till we know what it is going on." He told the troll and moved forward silently, reaching the edge of the trees and looked out...then blinked at the sight of a massive bear and an injured troll. He felt a snarl lift his lip at the sight of the injuries, and around his exposed arms thin red scales started to appear and move down towards his hands.
"HEY! YOU!" He roared stepping out and waving, trying to get the bear to look at him.
Mari and Talia both looked at the part in question, considering what the rhyme could mean. "Well Mari, should we?" She asked the dragoness who nodded and pulled out two blank spell books and put them beside the book that Berkana had out.
"
Do you mind if we make copies of these Sworn Berkana?
" Mari asked.
Tae looked around at the feeling of magic in the air, trying to figure out where it had come from, and kept looking at the human, wondering about him.

This is so odd. I don't even know what it does,
Tristan thought to himself, glancing at Talia for the briefest moment before glancing underneath the table at his hands.
Come on, manners. This isn't polite at all, you nitwit.
He clenched his fists, dissipating whatever he had been casting and looked upwards again, only to find the elf on the other side of the table staring at him.
Tristan couldn't help but staring back in momentary fright.

Praey shook her head. "Nuh uh, ahm comin' witcha, ahm not some liddle girl dat gets left behind," Praey said, running to catch up with Kiran. She reached the clearing and saw the spirit bear and another injured troll. "By da Loa," she exclaimed rushing forward, her hands already glowing purple.
"No!" Ashiena shouted. "Don't hurt him!" she continued, hoping the others would listen. The bear was now ignoring the others, looking at Ashiena directly. "Brudda bear, great spirit... please.." Ashiena pleaded, on her knees now in front of the spirit beast.
~
Berkana gestured towards the book, her palms open. "Please," she smiled. "I trust you both will be cautious with who sees this information; who knows what this tome could contain under the code."
She looked at Tristan and Tae'sash curiously, watching them.

"But you are injured miss." Kiran said, his eyes locked on the bear. Around his hands flames were starting to form as he raised them up. "I don't think you should just stay there." He growled at the bear, trying to keep it's focus on himself. "But I'll try to not hurt it." He promised, then thought to himself.
Unless it goes for you or Praey, then I will take it down.
"
Thank you.
" Mari said, and placed her hands on the two blank books and the book that Berkana had brought. All three objects glowed brightly as she copied the information into the blanks.
"I have to get you to teach me that spell this time." Talia said, shaking her head in slight awe.
"
If there is time.
" Mari said absently.
Tae was still staring at Tristan, looking at his face and considering things. He knew who the boy was, but wasn't sure why he was with Talia.

Axe
Grizzly Hills
Axe took out a small cloth, cleaned his bloodied hand, and shaked Nuhm's hand. "Good manners are always a way to make friends, Axe heard one time from an old shaman." Axe split the meat: He put extra salt and spices on one half, for him and the warlock, one quarter with average, for the priest, and the remaining quarter with a slight touch. He took out one of the coffee bottles, poured it in the pot, and put the pot over the metal structure. "Manners say Axe gotta offer a hot beverage. Nuhm, do you like coffee? Axe brought it from Dalaran"

Tristan's eyes flicked away from Tae back to Mari and Talia, eyeing what the hooded woman was doing with the books before checking to see if the elf was still staring. Which he was. The human uneasily slunk down into his chair, wishing he was anywhere but there.

Ashiena's eyes flickered to the others, but only briefly. She was focused on the task at hand, no need to worry about the fact she now had an audience watching her. She grunted and applied more pressure to her constantly bleeding side, aware that her face was now starting to swell and bruise from being flung to the ground with such force.
"Brotha bear," she whispered, her eyes locked on the great beast. He stood there for a few moments before letting out a monstrous roar. Ashiena tried her best not to flinch as the bear dipped its head, finally touching his nose to her forehead.
Instantly Ashiena felt a shock explode in her head and her vision went white. She closed her eyes, warmth spreading from her head down to her wounds. When she opened her eyes, the bear was gone, with nothing but a few blue tendrils of smoke blowing away in the wind.
She looked around wildly, then finally looked down at her intense wounds - they were healing, the effect slow but visible when combined with her natural regenerative properties.
Ashiena had been blessed by Arcturis.
~
Nuhm smirked but shook his head. "No thanks; the only way I like coffee is if it is at least half alcohol," he commented. He considered offering to help prepare the bear steaks, but the thought of touching raw meat grossed him out far too much.
"So, why you after the Prince Black? Fame, glory, money?" the warlock asked, curious.
~
Berkana remained silent, watching the Blue as she worked. As fearful as she was of magic, this spell was very impressive. She turned to Tristan. "So, why are you accompanying Lady Talia?" Berkana questioned with a smile. "Furthering your studies? Are you a candidate for a Sworn?"

Axe
Grizzly Hills
"Oh, quite the story. After Axe finished up helping the Hyjal druids with the Molten Front doing some minor tasks, Axe was sent to reinforce Tol Barad while Deathwing was being taken down. Then, Axe asked permission to stay in Orgrimmar. A friend of Axe had once been saved in Dragonblight by a red drake, and he told her that in a time of need he would ask her help for the Wyrmrest Accord. Well, he came a few weeks ago, but Axe didn't want friend to go into a dangerous journey, so Axe offered instead. Also, Axe needed a reason to go out to search for glory in battle, since Axe's squadron boss needed a good reason to let Axe out of Orgrimmar." As he spoke, the coffee finished heating up, so Axe moved the pot out and moved the pot with Axe's and Nuhm's stew inside, and as he served himself a large cup of coffee, he started preparing the rest of the meat to last for a week, or one day if Nihilion ever got hurt and needed to be fed.

"By the Flight." Kiran muttered, his arms and hands returning to normal as the flames faded. He shook his head and the last vestiges of his power, a pair of slits in his eyes, vanished.
He quickly moved over to the troll woman, holding out his hands. "Here, let me help you." He offered.
Mari was still casting the spell as Talia continued to keep watch.
Tae sighed and took his drink, thinking as Koran stood by stoutly.
