Tristan opened his eyes, not realizing he had closed them during his struggle to tune just about everything out to keep the ice wall up. He glanced over at Koran, the wall crumbling in an instant before he lowered his hands, "Oh."

The boy looked around awkwardly, before wiping his face off with his sleeve.

The female dragon landed beside her brother, and after a few moments of stretching pulled the mortal guise back upon herself.

"Possibly," Alexxa snapped back, her voice dripping with venom.

Ashiena sat away from the group with Doof, the two of them eating hungrily.

Praey approached Talia, a confused look on her face. "Whad was wif dat?" she questioned, her hands on her hips. "Ah tought dat we was makin' allies 'ere, nahd fightin' dem?" She glanced over at Tae'sash before looking back at the half-elf, waiting for an answer.

Nuhm took another drink and rotated a little bit, trying not to look at the night elf seated across from him. He waved at Tae'sash then gave him the finger, sticking his tongue out. "What's all the hate you stuff about elf-boy?"

Berkana was watching the group carefully. She smiled at Tristan, intriqued by the boy. "Have you practised much with nature magic or healing?" she asked him kindly.

"I knew there was something," Llynarai retorted, crossing her arms and sneering.

Tebrion growled for a moment, catching himself quickly before he could roar. He shook his form, folding his wings and shrinking down into his human illusion shortly after Isiria did the same.

"There is much food here, and many places to hide if need be." He commented. "It should do for now."

"I uh... got the chance to copy it once or twice, but that's about it," Tristan replied, with an embarrassed face as he glanced up at Berkana.

"Good," Isiria replied. "It's nice here. The earth doesn't weep as much as it does in other lands," she mumbled absently, shifting her footing.

While the fight lasted, Axe focused on cooking as hard as he could. He felt the urge to take out his cleavers and kill. "Gotta concentrate, must resist... temptation....must not go....demonic!" His mind went on with those thoughts as he kept cooking, while his skin started aquiring a reddish tone. As the fight finished, Axe felt the need to let a bit of anger flow. He took out one of his cleavers, swinged it like it was made of paper, and in one cut, split a tree in half. His skin went back to the usual bright green. "Better" he thought.

"Because you get a good traveling partner." Tae'sash told Nuhm, wincing as Kiran helped him with his injuries. "Look who I got stuck with." He jerked a thumb towards Koran. "I tell you, the luck of the world just isn't right." He said with a theatrical sigh.

"That Praey, is an old hatred coming to the surface." Talia said quietly, looking at the ground. "I hate him, so very much." She all but growled, clenching her hands into tight fists. "If I could, I'd kill him."

"Copy?" Koran asked, looking from the human to the Night Elf.

"Concord!" Tiziana laughed, and the horse actually seemed to listen to his new name just as well as he did to his old one. "Isn't that pompous," she asked him, stroking his side. "I didn't introduce myself properly, and I never caught your name either. I'm Tiziana Calvin, or just Tiz for short," she explained, removing her gauntlet and glove and stretching out her right hand to shake.

"A pleasure madame. Leopold Chopin! At your service, my lady," Leopold declared, falling to his knee and kissing Tiz's hand. "Oh, and that's Damon."

Nuhm snorted, laughing at the other elf. "Hey, you can have her," the warlock chuckled. "She mostly just beats me anyways, tells me I'm a bad bad elfie," he winked, taking another sip of his flask.

Praey bit her lip and reached over, grabbing Talia's shoulder. "Ah, yah can't hate eachotha dat bad," she insistant, rubbing the half-elfs shoulder before letting go. "Yah seem like ah good person, an' ah know dat Tae'sash be good at lotsa tings," she chuckled. "Yah guys can't put yah past behind yah?"

Berkana smiled. "Well would you like to practise?" she questioned, then her smile grew as she saw his face darkening. "No need to be shy young one, I do not have expectations and I will not be judging. I admit I am just a little curious, that's all. You have an incredible talent."

The night elf patted his shoulder lightly. "It's not a test or an order, merely an offer. You may refuse if you wish," Berkana smiled.

Ashiena talked quietly to Doof, ignoring the rest of the group.

Llynarai Runesong
Howling Fjord

Llynarai shrugged, looking away from Alexxa and into the fire. Her features turned sour, a scowl appearing on her face. "It's just a sign of weakness," she spat, thinking of her own past and the runes inscribed on her flesh.

"Yeah but she looks so good beating you." Tae mock-moaned then laughed at the sight of Kiran blushing. "And you my fine haired elven lad, who are you?" He asked, arching an eyebrow at the half-elf.

"Kiran Hartford. There, you are all patched up so excuse me." Kiran said, moving over to grab a bowl of food then went to sit next to Ashiena.

"Was it something I said?" Tae asked Nuhm.

"Are you alright?" Kiran asked, taking a seat and eating some of the food.

"After what he did to me, I'll never forgive him." Talia growled, still not looking at Praey.

Tristan glanced quickly at Koran, "Yeah! I uh--well, I can copy magic. Not very well mind you, I'm not really trained, so things tend to go wrong if I don't concentrate really hard and..." he trailed off, rambling, before looking back at Berkana. "Oh! Well, sure, I mean, like I said, things might not go very well because I'm not all that good but it would be neat!"

His face was quickly turning a very, very deep shade of red from all the stammering and attention.

"I agree," she paused, quirking her head, before stepping in a direction. "There's a large group of... something, this way. I think they may be animals, from the vibrations."

Alexxa twisted her mouth, "Then I'm weak," she snarled, going deathly silent after saying it. A few moments later, she stood up, took her polearm, and headed to the entrance of cavern, sitting on a nearby rock to look out at the storm.

"Ah Tae, you havn't changed a bit you bastard," Nuhm grinned, patting the elf on the shoulder. He jerked his head in Kiran's direction, his smile widening. "You should see that guy. Praey's all over him, flirting with him like the dog she is and he won't even look at her. Then, this skinny little hunter comes along, half torn to shreds and he hasn't left her alone," he laughed.

Ashiena looked up from her meal as Kiran approached, ignoring the fact that her hands and mouth were covered in juices from the steak. She finished chewing slowly and nodded at him, looking at him with wide, crimson eyes. "Yes," she squeaked, looking back down at the ground. Doof yawned and laid down in the grass beside Ashiena, watching the half-elf.

Praey shrugged. "Ah tink dat dere's a difference between fo'givin' an fo'gettin', an' tryin' tah kill someone in fronta da entiya camp, especially since we gotta be travelin' tagetha," she said. "Ahm sure it wasn't dat bad."

Berkana smiled and reached into her pack, pulling out a small dagger. She carefully made two cuts on her outter forearm, each about an inch long and not very deep. "Now," she said to Tristan with a slight wince. "I will heal the one, very slowly, and you try to copy it with your magic," she smiled. "Don't be worried child."

Llynarai laughed darkly, feeling drunk and superior.

Mari yawned and took a seat near the fire, just absently watching everyone as she took some of the food.

"Well I'm glad; I was a little worried when we found you." Kiran said with a grin. "So, what were you doing?" He asked her, tilting his head.

Tae gave a slightly dramatic sigh as he leaned back, resting on his elbows. "Of course; the beautiful ones always want the mongrel's and never the pure bloods." He said, shaking his head. "So, how did you and her end up traveling with this lot?"

"He...when I was much younger, we had the same teacher. As time went on, I fell for his charm and good looks. We were very close, I really though he was the one...." Talia scowled and the area in front of her was suddenly covered in frost. "That bastard...I came home one night and found him in bed with another." She snarled.

Koran watched Tristan and Berkana with interest.

Tristan cringed as she cut her self, but nodded, "Ready!" he exclaimed.

"Mhmm," Isiria replied, following after him, keeping alert for any changes she felt, or anything that would be approaching them.

The queldorei shivered, the grip on her polearm laxing as the cold starting to get to her away from the fire, but she refused to move back, especially already having been made a fool of by the other elf.

She had half the mind to see what the weakness could do to that woman, but Alexxa didn't feel like being torn to shreds by an angry, giant cat.

Tiziana blushed a bit by the treatment, offering Damon "good evening" as a means to distract herself from Chopin. He was quite handsome, and though his demeanor was utterly ridiculous he had a (very special) charm. "Concord," she thought again and giggled a little.

Feeling quite comfortable with the company, she thought it wouldn't hurt to be a bit familiar and asked: "So what are you doing out here in the storm? I mean, were doing out there, of course...there's no storm in here..."
